Yuma Desert wins 3 in a row
Yuma Desert has won her last three starts in fine fashion which has been very exciting for the farm and her owners.
She won at Canterbury on May 16 with Kerrin McEvoy on board where she ran over 1100m with a time of 1:05.54.
Next start was also at Canterbury on May 25 where she won over 1250m again with Kerrin McEvoy as jockey. Her time was 1:13.69
Today she won at Randwick with Andrew Atkins as jockey over 1100m and a time of 1:04.32. “She’s a terrific filly who just keeps on improving with every run,” said co-trainer Paul Snowden. “Andrew made good use of her early speed where she was able to dominate, and with that handy weight claim, she was able to get the job done again. “She’s as tough as they come and proving an exciting prospect for her owners.”
