Another 2yo debut winner for Fairhill, Cudabeen
After winning her debut trial approx 2 weeks ago at Wyong, Cudabeen won her debut race today, 12th December 2015, at Kembla Grange. She ran over the 1000m distance in 58.02, the last 600m in 32.93sec with Grant Buckley on board. She is trained by Tracey Bartley who has had her since before a failed attempt to sell her at the Inglis Ready to Race sale in October. Cudabeen was originally offered at the MM January sale but failed to meet reserve there also. Fairhill is now hoping that it will prove to be a blessing.
Cudabeen has a 3/4 sister, by I Am Invincible out of Centaine mare Lady Charlotte, being offered at MM Gold Coast January 2016 Sale. She also has a full sister being offered at the Inglis Classic sale in February 2016. Our Scene Steeler, the dam of Cudabeen has a filly at foot by Excelebration and is in foal to Sizzling.
